The standard 3″ hump hose that came with the kit was not quite long enough. Unfortunately, the 2.75″ diameter hump hose only comes in 3″ lengths. I really wanted a 4″ length, so I found a company in the UK that makes custom hoses of this type. In the UK they use the term “bespoke” instead of “custom”. Luckily, since my mom was English, I’m bilingual. 🙂

The company is called http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/. Most Americans are probably not aware that the UK totally dominates auto racing development. There is probably not a race car in the world that does not use products developed in the UK. They do some amazing work that could also be applied to the aviation world, but they are rather discreet, for some reason.

Here you can see the new hump hose beside the original. The extra inch provides clearance between the intercooler and the large supercharger pulley on the back of the engine.

The hose cost me UKP 28.13 including delivery and taxes, which is about 40 US dollars.

Here is the hose installed. Works fine.
