14 Aug 2005 Using lock nuts on fuel pumps
My fuel pumps came with what look like brass nuts and a split lock washer. I’ve read that these split lock washers are not recommended in an aviation application. I would like to replace these with a standard flat washer and a nyloc nut. Does this seem like a good idea?
