First step was to open the boxes, and inventory all the parts. The kit comes in only two small boxes, and believe it or not, all the stuff needed to make a kit was in there.

The rivets, nuts, bolts, and all other hardware was in the paper sacks. I didn’t move them into any permanent containers, since this is not my permanent location.

I also divided the parts into obvious groups – Horizonal Stabilizer, Vertical Stabilizer, Rudder, Left Elevater and trim tab, and Right Elevator.

First part we will attack – the Horizontal Stabilizer!
