OK, so the first batch of “proseal” did not ever dry. I botched up the mixture by not pumping the plunger in and out at least 50 times. My bad, but at least I learned (again) to read the instructions. Pretty embarassing, that’s for sure.

Here are all the parts with the old proseal all cleaned off, and ready for another try.

Here is what the proseal should look like after a lot of mixing. Black.

Here is a tank cover, ready to go on.

Right tank cover on.

Cover plate where the fuel sender would go if I had installed the flop tube. I punted on that for a variety of reasons.

Left tank cover in place.

Gas cap and sleeve, glued in place.

Here is the pressure test on the right tank:

Seems to have worked fine. We’ll know more when I get the gas in!
